The color values if this painting is complimentary the red goes with the green and the orange goes with the pool water blue. Also all the people have their clothes that are also complimentary and everything just goes together. He used them to compliment his photograaph and show all the color. I think it makes the picture look better and stand out and is bright.

Robert Doisneau Research Paper
Robert Doisneau
A famous photographer that is well known for his unique style of street photography is Robert Doisneau. He was born on April 14th, 1912 in Gentilly, Paris. At age four his father died on active service in World War 1. His mother died when he was just seven years old and he was raised by his rude, non-loving aunt. He got married to Pierrette and they had two children, Annette and Francine. He graduated in 1929 with diplomas in engraving and lithography, which led him to do the art. He started with figure drawing and still life which later led him to taking an amateur photography class. That’s when he first got into photography. After he began taking many jobs as an assistant of photographer himself he was contracted by Vogue as a fashion photographer but he didn’t enjoy taking photos of beautiful women in elegant settings. He would rather do street photography; to him it gave more life and excitement to a photograph. In quote he said, “The marvels of daily life are so exciting; no movie director can arrange the unexpected that you find in the streets.” His most recognized work is “The Kiss”. It is a photograph of a couple kissing in the busy streets of Paris. His photograph “The Kiss” was sold for 250,000 dollars because it was very popular. Also during World War 2 he served as a photographer and a soldier from 1940-1945. He died later on April 1st, 1994 in Montrouge, Paris. His work is very good and interesting to look at I personally like his photography a lot.

Reflection on Photography
Reflection
What is photography? Photography is the result of several different types of photography. One type of photography is rule of thirds. Rule of Thirds has nine squares in the lens and you have a focus stop on one of the lines. Composition is a type of photography that is diagonal and also could be in bird’s eye view or down below for more dynamic photos. Shutter Speed is used in photography to do motion blur or freeze photography which is practically how long the shutter is open. Aperture is when the camera focus’ on one object and the background is blurry or unfocused. Motion blur is when the shutter is open longer so the movements made are in a blur and freeze frame is when the shutter is fast so it can catch movements while they happen like they just froze. Basic camera shots are extreme wide shot , very wide shot , wide shot , mid shot , medium close up , close up , and extreme close up. Some commands that we use in this class are automatic, shutter speed, and aperture. So these are most of the things I have learned in this class and now I’m educated more on definitions of types of photography.
